Halos are optical phenomena that occur when light is refracted and reflected by ice crystals in the atmosphere. These ice crystals can be found in cirrus clouds, which are thin and wispy clouds at high altitudes. When the sunlight passes through these ice crystals, it is refracted and reflected, creating the appearance of a halo around the sun or moon. The specific shape and size of the halo depend on the orientation and shape of the ice crystals. **

The chronological order of the halos is as follows: first, the ice crystals or water droplets in the atmosphere refract and reflect sunlight, creating the halo effect. Next, the light is bent and separated into its different colors, creating the rainbow-like appearance. Finally, the observer on the ground sees the halo as a circular or arc-shaped ring around the sun or moon. This sequence of events results in the visual phenomenon of halos in the sky. **

No, the halos of Andromeda and the Milky Way have not yet touched. Current scientific evidence suggests that the two galaxies are on a collision course and are expected to merge in about 4 billion years. As they get closer, their halos will begin to interact and merge, leading to a dramatic transformation of both galaxies. This collision and merger will have significant effects on the structure and evolution of the two galaxies. **

Halos and light rings can occur after the implantation of artificial lenses due to the way light is refracted and diffracted by the new lens. The artificial lens can cause light to scatter and create halos or rings around bright objects, especially at night or in low light conditions. This can be a common side effect of certain types of intraocular lenses and may improve over time as the eyes adjust to the new lens. It is important to discuss any concerns about halos or light rings with an eye care professional to ensure proper management and care. **

The caricature of the summit conference in Helsinki shows the leaders of the United States and Russia, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, sitting at a table with Trump holding a puppet string attached to Putin. This caricature is a satirical representation of the perception that Trump is under the control or influence of Putin, suggesting that Putin is pulling the strings and manipulating Trump. The image reflects the controversy and speculation surrounding the relationship between the two leaders and the potential influence of Russia on the United States. **

A symposium is a formal gathering or meeting where experts in a particular field come together to discuss and exchange ideas on a specific topic. It is often organized as a series of presentations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions, allowing participants to share their knowledge and insights with each other. Symposia are commonly held in academic and professional settings, providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and learning within a specific discipline or industry. **

"Der Kongress tanzt" is a German phrase that translates to "The Congress Dances" in English. The phrase originated from the Congress of Vienna in 1814-1815, where European diplomats and leaders gathered to reorganize Europe after the Napoleonic Wars. The phrase is a metaphor for the diplomatic and political maneuvering that took place during the Congress, likening it to a dance where participants carefully navigated their relationships and alliances. It reflects the complex and intricate nature of international diplomacy and negotiations during this historic event. **

A convention is a formal agreement or a set of accepted norms and practices that govern behavior in a particular context or industry. It is a customary way of doing things that is widely recognized and followed by a group of people. Conventions help to establish consistency, order, and predictability in social interactions or professional settings. They can vary across different cultures, societies, or fields of study. **
